Food is always wonderful! But this morning, service was atrocious. We placed an online order on our way to the store with curbside pick-up. Things where scheduled to be ready 5 minutes before we would arrive. When we arrived and checked in, we sat for about five minutes before I just went inside. It was slow, no one inside and just a few cars in drive thru. No reason things should have taken that long.
When I got inside it took a few minutes for anyone to notice me as they were all cooking or working drive thru. After telling them I was the curbside order, they brought over my iced coffees which seemed smaller than I ordered and told me they were waiting on fries to complete my order. (This is now 10-12 minutes after things where supposed to be ready for them to bring it to the car.)
I asked about the coffees as I'd ordered large and the young lady working with me look bewildered. Said she would get me the large and came back with two empty cups and our food. Told me it was only a little bit of product difference and that I could pour them into the larger cups if I felt that was needed. Proceeded to immediately walk away.
I poured things into the larger cups and stood at the counter for a few minutes trying to see if she was planning to top them off or not. Even shouted into the kitchen "Hey quick question for you." Only to be met with no replies as she was talking to a coworker by the fryer.
If you make an order wrong, correct it. If you make an incorrect size, take the time to remake it or simply add enough product to do it right. We paid for large iced coffees and received smalls today. Will avoid business at this location ...
Read moreI was starting to enjoy whataburger after fine tuning my ordering and getting used to their menu until I walked into their lobby Sunday morning on the 11th of June. I wasn't sure their lobby was open 24/7 and when I walked in there was an man mopping the floor. He didn't greet me or speak. I asked if the lobby was open and he acted like answering me was a difficult task. After he confirmed that it was open I walked to the counter to order. No one was there. After standing there a little bit I saw the same employee put down his mop and acting irritated he walked to the counter and was rude as he could be about taking my order. I should have walked out. He was just as rude to the customer behind me that had just walked in. When I sat down at a booth I could hear him on the phone as he finished mopping the floor. He was complaining about other employees on what appeared to be a headset . This man is very unprofessional and I hope the appropriate people see this review and check employee time cards to see who this man is because he is in the wrong profession and should not be dealing with the public with his negative attitude. I will try not to let this ruin my new whataburger experience but it will be difficult and I hope to not have to deal with this man again because it will be the end of my whataburger days. I try to be as fair as I can while writing reviews and I feel like I've actually given this man too much...
Read moreI finally made it to my first dine-in at a Whataburger in Missouri! Having lived in Texas for 8 years, I was sad to move home knowing I wouldn't be able to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. But we now have quite a few close to my area. I would've loved to give this restaurant 5 stars but I was a little displeased with how long it took for someone to come to the register to take our order and then everyone's order in line behind us, the fact that I had to ask for a cup after I ordered, the fries were hot but a little over cooked, and no one came around with the tray of ketchup to see if we needed any. I was impressed with the knowledge of their products that the guy who took our order had. Being a new store and not one common to our area, it was impressive that he didn't falter one bit with any of my questions! Overall, it everything was good, just need to address the fries and the customer service that is unique to Whataburger because I always loved that someone would come around with that tray of condiments because it just makes you feel special. I know it's a new store so the little kinks will get worked out that's why I still recommend it and...
