I came in here with my family to get new phones and none of our material downloaded from the old phone to the new phone and we were told that it would. nobody checked to make sure that our material was moved over and they requested our old phones, and so now we don't have any passwords or apps. But more importantly, we don't have any pictures. pictures that we have taken over the last ten years, from our phones. The thing is, though, the last time that my husband and I got a phone was about 10 years ago. And we did not know that that was a necessary step to make sure that we ourselves verified because we were told everything would transfer over, we just assumed, given they are the experts AND THEY ARE THE ONES TELLING US that it would. I have pictures just on my phone alone that are priceless, and that cannot be replaced. If this was something we had done more often, we probably would have known. But we are coming to these people who are the experts for their help and they did the opposite of help us, but they have now created a huge problem that wasn't even there to begin with. And I have no way of going back and getting those phones, because they have been wiped. We have pictures of our children, videos of them. Of family members that have passed of animals that have passed, and I don't have any way of getting them back because somebody didn't do their job.
I cannot stress to you enough. Do not come to this verizon office, go to Springfield. You will be disappointed. they cannot manage to do what they say that they're going to do and that they don't take the necessary steps to make sure to check and verify that everything is moved over before they wipe the old phones. Read moreWe had issues just with poor customer service and lack of knowledge, but hadn't really effected us in anyway. THEN, this spring I was out of town and my phone broke. I went to the nearest Verizon store to get a new one. I have NEVER owned a phone without insurance so I knew I had insurance. I went to that store and they said I didn't have Verizon insurance but possibly had insurance through the store. I had NO idea that was even an option. So, a few days later I was able to go to the store and they told me I did have insurance through them. When purchasing my insurance when I purchased the phone, I was never told that the insurance I paid for was only through that store. My deductible was nearly $200! SO.....I was sent a phone. The camera on the phone never worked and the screen was partially falling off. I had to purchase a special case just to keep my screen on. So, I finally went to see if they could send me a replacement because the one they sent me just got to where it wasn't working at all and they had NO record of my insurance claim. So I was sent a junk phone and am stuck with a phone that no longer works....... Will never be returning to this store and may possibly be switching from Verizon after MANY years with the company!! Read moreBy far the best service I've ever had with Verizon. I was helped by Summer and she was so knowledgeable about everything. She broke down my bill and plan. Went out of the way to show me every phone I asked to see which included going into the safe. She didn't knock my choice of phone brand and encouraged me to go with what I like and preferred. She was up to date on what deals they were running and what phones were expected to come out. She explained warranty and protection plans as well as showing me how to back up everything on my device so when I did upgrade everything would transfer over. She explained how my mobile hotspot on my phone works and what it would mean if I actually purchased a hotspot. She explained why my phone wasn't charging properly. When asked about upgrading tablets she explained we would keep our current ones and just get new ones on our plan but the old ones would still work via Wi-Fi. I had the best customer experience ever and it was way better than what I had received at a corporate store the previous day. Thank you so...
