It was a gorgeous sunny day with a nice cool breeze.

This place offers a free parking lot. I went on a weekday morning, and there was plenty of parking.

There are restrooms. There are several benches, near the parking lot, to sit and enjoy the view, in case you didn't take your own beach chairs.

There are a couple of trails on each side of the beach. From the parking lot to the right, you will have a paved maintained in and out trial (Rockaway Point trail) rated as easy.

The Mori Ridge Trail loop trail is to the left and rated hard if you do the big loop, but there is a smaller loop rated moderator.

There are a couple of restaurants to grab lunch or dinner. I would suggest getting it to go and enjoy lunch on the beach.

*Be mindful of seagulls, pigeons, and other birds if you decide to eat on the beach. You feed ONE, and you will have a swarm of hungry birds. I would suggest not feeding any, so that you may enjoy...

This used to be a motel but they turned it into a hotel, how did they do that they enclosed the outside hallways, so you don't feel the wind but you can still see the surf, fancy I was pleased with my room it had everything I needed and expected I was not in Vegas I just wanted clean and a nice chair, and they also included a great coffee machine. The night before I stayed at a place closer to the beach that I won't mention but has been there forever. The rooms could not be smaller! There was two of us in a room with two beds and it was overcrowded but we could see the waves breaking in the parking lot, not worth it this Rockaway Beach Place is a must stay. I can't wait to come back and it...

Fabulous waterfront spot. Very versatile for Casual, family, large events or game day. This spot has been my family's go to for over 40 years. It never disappoints. The service is excellent, the food choices are vast, and everything is made to order. Dine in for a beer and crab sandwich or a beautiful steak dinner. Order the Garlic bread and fresh clam chowder. Whatever your mood or venue, you will NOT be disappointed here. Call for special occasion banquets.

There is a decent parking lot with handicap parking. Breathe in the salt air and enjoy the healing...
