Shelldance Orchid Gardens — Attraction in Pacifica

I finally visited this place after hearing about it years ago and I'm so glad that I did! This is one of my favorite nurseries and the ladies that run this place are super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The plants are all healthy and lovingly tended to. You can also book this place as a wedding reception! They have a very large variety of different plants and plants that I have never seen before. There's also a little shop that sells an assortment of jewelry and pottery. I couldn't walk out of here without buying this gorgeous Monstera. I did hosted my wedding last year in May at shelldance and I loved every moment here. If you're looking for a venue that's stress free, flexible , scenic , beautiful, intimate and peaceful this is the spot! I searched for a tropical inspired venue for my small wedding of 20 and Nancy the owner was the most reasonable and thoughtful person ever. There no fuss or hidden fees when booking this space. Just be upfront on what you want and she'll tell you yes or no. On the outside it may be a little rough but the inside is just magical if you love.greenery. This is a cute and quirky little spot. It's a fun place for a visit, and a great spot to buy a gift. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They spent a lot of time with us discussion how to keep our orchids alive. I have never been to an event here, but it seems like such a cute spot. I know people have gotten married there in the past. It's also nice to stop in before or after a hike up the Mori Ridge trail. The trail head is at the other end of the parking lot.
