The hike starts out easy with gardens by the community along the side. Most of the gardens appear to be memorials, including remember those who lost their lives on 9/11. The easy trail is also used by bicyclists and runners.
Eventually, the hike becomes moderate to hard, if you want to hike to higher elevations. The hike leads you to Mori Point for a view of the ocean and "bird island." Be wise and be careful because there's a steep cliff.
Near Mori Point, you can hike down the stairs (645 feet) or along a trail to go down to the beach or to Old Mori Point Trail. To loop around, you can either take trails and hike back, or you can walk on the sidewalk...
