I am impressed! Look out world… some Colorado wineries are figuring out wine making… AND I LOVE IT! Grande River is situated right off Interstate 70 near Grand Junction, in Palisades, CO. Easy to drop in for a tasting or a tour of the vineyards. There is also lodging there, in case you want to immerse yourself into a winery experience. Start your day with a horse drawn carriage to get you to the vineyard and winery. Super fun. I really enjoyed their 2021 Merlot, so I definitely recommend it :) 8 on the “Steve Scale.”

Definitely worth a stop! The wines are all well done. Good reserve wines and a couple of nice desert wines. A nice winery that's supportive of the local community, always doing the live music benefits on Saturdays. Nice job!

Grande River Winery has a comfortable tasting room and a splendid upstairs. I appreciate their limited menu as one can focus more on the nuances of each wine. The staff is very friendly & accommodating

Really lovely tasting room and staff. Limits on how many people in the tasting room and everyone wearing masks. Wine was delicious and the grounds were so very nice to enjoy a glass. Thank you!
