Hanam Karaoke (하남 노래방) — Attraction in Palisades Park

ABSOLUTELY HORRID PLACE!!! Never coming here EVER again!! We went to the korean bbq upstairs and ate so well and decided to go to the karoke downstairs. The controllers weren't working well, but we stayed patient for about an hour. We couldn't take it anymore so we asked the front desk for help due to the controllers not working. But instead of helping us, he insulted and cursed at us in front of our kids. He started an unnecessary fight and began to aggressively push us. He became very violent and threw the controller TOWARDS THE KIDS and yelled at us to get out. We are NEVER coming back to the karaoke or even the restaurant upstairs!!! Beware they will not let you bring any drinks in, only food. This is so they can get you to buy their drinks. The room was small and cramped compared to other karaoke places I have been. I reserved 2 weeks in advance for a 3 hour slot yet at two hours they cut us off and our whole play list was deleted. After they were told, they restarted the machine and I had to re-enter the whole list. It was very hard for them to understand English. After these issues they still asked for a tip at the end. The man on the front desk literally yelled at us for asking for help. The controller was seriously not working, but we were trying to be nice and waited an hour before complaining (because we are spending our money). The man called us atrocious names while pushing us. He then THREW THE CONTROLLER towards our kids. This man claimed to be the owner, but the manager at the kbbq place upstairs told us that he wasn't. This is seriously unacceptable behavior and so messed up!! Please be careful, especially if you are going as a group of girls...
