Cafe Coffee & Food KOKOLOKO COFFEE — Restaurant in Palisades Park

Horrifying. The cashier (the caucasian male) was unbelievably rude to a woman who I saw get hit in the head by the bakery’s entrance metal pole that broke off because it was not installed correctly. She spoke to him and told him that their door hurt her on the head to the point where there was a bump and he replied in a very rude/annoyed tone and said he didn’t see nor hear the pole falling off the door and hitting her on the head. When a metal pole crashes on the ground it’s quite loud. If that had happened to a small child or baby it could have potentially been fatal/seriously hurt them. No apology from the man, which honestly is more than rude. Wouldn’t an apology be the most basic form of human decency? I'm not one who likes to leave reviews, but unfortunately I need to. This is is really nice, great staff and AMAZING coffee. I love their cortado, however, their food is not great, especially for how much they charge. I went there because I wanted coffee but the minimum to use a cc is $10, so I got eggs with bacon and toast, which is $9. Well, sorry but it was a joke! Eggs were okay, but bacon was not worth the money looked like the already made Oscar Meyer strips, they added some frozen fries with what seemed like expired ketchup. And the toast was horrible! So disappointed because they have such good coffee. Maybe going forward I will make sure I always have cash. But I definitely do not recommend the...

My wife and I drive out of our way (from the main streets in Palisades Park), to go to this Cafe.

The manager (or owner) was so pleasant and nice to both the patrons and his worker. A few weeks ago wife and I were there on a Monday noon time and he was trying to train a Korean girl who seemed to be new. He was so supportive and was constantly trying to praise her, and politely correcting her mistakes.

We were there yesterday and a different Asian cashier was working and again the manager (Caucasian guy) was super nice to the coworker/employee. Because he works so hard at making good food and being pleasant, we try to go to this Cafe. Their taiyaki is good, as well as...
