I was there with 2 reviewers who were forced away by an attendant there for waxing a car. Besides what they said, I can add the following:
A) There were 3 people waxing one car. And we were working on a 1-series, a small coupe, not a giant truck or anything. We weren't taking long.
B) We left $16 in one go, more than anyone there. We quickly rinsed a 3-series and then we washed&waxed 1-series while the 3-series was parked away.
C) There was absolutely no cars behind us, the other booth was completely empty and dry. I have no idea why the guy would have a problem with us handwaxing the car...
D) The guy COMMANDED us to go into "Waxing area". Which is basically an open space at direct sunlight. After we said we can't roll out car without cleaning excess of wax, he started telling us that he doesn't care and nothing will happen to a car if we wax it under sun. Not that he has a waxing degree...
E) No other "clean yourself" car washes minds you waxing there. Did it on Babcock a week before. That's the whole point of self-wash.
F) There is no air dry of any sort. I'd pay for drying the car, but they don't have it, and no person in their sane mind would think that leaving it out on the sun is an OK way to dry the car.
This car wash doesn't offer anything special, yet the attendant (who, btw, said he is an owner, and apparently he is not), thinks it's OK to bitch out on people for no reason because... because his life isn't perfect I guess. We weren't holding anyone, we weren't loud, we weren't disposing anything, we weren't rude, and they just lost customers who were spending good...

I’ve been on the hunt for the best self serve wash for over a month. I found this one a week ago and came back today because it was great. Noticed the owner was outside tidying up the place. I walked over to say thanks because this wash is the best. The soap, the water, the cleanliness, etc.
It was the conversation after this that made me understand WHY this place is the best. Trevor is obviously a man of integrity and cares about the service he provides. Pair that with decades of experience in the car wash business and you get this place. Phenomenal.
Trevor could tell me anything about the place, the chemicals he uses, dilution ratios for his soap, replacement intervals, anything. I was skeptical of the auto-wash and its safety for the car’s paint, but he walked me through it, showed me his car with zero swirls, and suggested I try it but no worries if I don’t. Out of an increase in trust in this guy and his wash, I gave it a shot. Gotta say, the auto-wash gives a dang good wash too.
He also mentioned that he’s one of the only, if not THE only shop nearby that does not use reclaimed water. He also said he has a reverse osmosis machine that purifies the water before it comes out of his jets. I didn’t probe for proof of this, but I believe it and whatever the heck he’s doing it’s working because I could tell this wash was great before this convo.
Just wanted to type this up to let you know this place is the real deal. The best chemicals, best water, best upkeep, etc. and somehow still...
Read moreI love taking my dogs to their Dawg Wash. It’s so convenient! It costs $11 for x amount of minutes and takes cash or card. You put your dog up on the platform and there are 2 chains that you can attach to their collar and a little door that closes them in so you don’t have to worry about them running off. The spray hose gives you options like shampoo, flea/tick shampoo, conditioner, rinse. All the soap comes out of the hose so you don’t have to worry about pouring shampoo in your hands and lathering your dog. The hose has several different settings like any garden hose i.e shower, jet, flat, cone, etc. There is also a blow dryer that is helpful for dogs with longer coats. It will give you “warning beeps” when your time gets close to running out. If you pay with card you can push the credit card button to add additional time if you need it. I believe it adds around another minute or so per button push. The gentleman who owns the car wash is often there and super helpful and friendly. He’ll even bring your pup a treat if you’d like! It’s open 24 hours so it’s super convenient if you need to give your dogs a late night/early morning wash. (I had to go once around midnight because my dogs caught a possum). The machine is user-friendly and it’s a great option for people who want to make their dogs bath as easy as possible. It’s located on the back-side of...
