Met friends here on a Saturday. This place surprisingly wasn’t crowded. We were able to get a pavilion. This place offers plenty of parking, pavilions, paddle board rentals through a kiosk and a clean bathroom and a beautiful view of the ocean. People were here fishing. This place was peaceful and quiet. No grilling is allowed but picnic tables were available under the pavilion if you want to bring any food. The water was a little stagnant and may not smell the best, but for us it wasn’t too bad. There was a nice breeze and it was a beautiful day. This park is open from sunrise to sunset. Great hidden gem. I will definitely return.

Such a cool place. You can see a beautiful view of the ocean. It is so relaxing and peaceful. They have a bathroom, picnic tables, and kayaks. Lots of parking. It's not that crowded usually but people do come to fish a lot.

I recently visited Deering Point and was saddened to see the condition it is in. This is a place with great potential to be truly beautiful, but at the moment it looks very neglected. The grass is overgrown and not being cut, the benches and seating areas are dirty, and the grounds are overrun with weeds.

This park belongs to Miami-Dade County, and it is unfortunate that such a valuable public space is not receiving the maintenance it deserves. It could be a wonderful spot to enjoy nature and the ocean, but its current state of neglect takes away all of its charm.

I truly hope the appropriate authorities take action to restore Deering Point to the beauty and care that the community needs...

The place is very dirty and smells bad, there was a lot of green flies flying around. Tried kayaking and paddle boarding, but the water is impossible to get in, sea grass, trash, and brown foamy water. I think this was the worst experience in my life. Want to take a shower...
