Be careful with offers by Starbucks employees to unite balances from two gift cards into one. I had two cards and before I paid for a purchase I asked the barista to check the balances on them. One had a balance of approximately $8.00 and the other one had about $20.00. He offered to put both balances in one card and I agreed. He then advised me that the new balance was for $28.00. After making the payment he gave me back the supposedly loaded card and offered to dispose of the other one. I told him to go ahead. Coincidentally. the next day at approximately the same time I went ahead and made the same purchase and tried to pay for it with the card. The balance on the card was $0.00. The manager scanned the purchases for the previous day. He saw the purchase with a gift card but there was no record of the balance transfer. He could be of no further assistance but advised me to contact Starbucks. He kept the second gift card. As instructed I called Starbucks and rep advised me that without the numbers of both cards they could be of no assistance. She would not call the store manager to get the number or work on the incident even though he kept the card. I...
Read moreIm changing my review. Last few times it has been a disaster. Today my wife went in to pick up our mobile order and waited 10 min. 6 clients came in after her had their orders taken at the counter and the coffee guy made their coffees before ours. 6 clients came in after our order was already in place and left before my wife. This is unacceptable, my wife asked the barista for her coffee and he said it's right here.and didn't even hand it to her. She had to ask to get it. Mind you my wife is 7 months pregnant and kept her cool. I am in crutches and can't walk that well and was about to have to get out of the car. Only reason I didn't If not I would have spoke. To the manager in charge It's like they take care of their regular customers and since we only come in once in a while they don't care. Yes very friendly with the regulars but others it's like you are invisible. I cannot stress enough how unacceptable this is. Read moreOkay, Starbucks is for two things... Coffee and internet. Coffee and people are great at this Starbucks.
Internet? Not so much. I was getting 0.05Mbps down (yes, that is 50 kbps). Tried different areas of the facility. Tried outside. Tried inside. Tried my phone, my laptop. Nothing. 0.05 was the max... Some was even worse!
I'll go back to this Starbucks sometime in the future and try again. I've never gone to work there, so had not tried the wifi in the past. Hopefully it was just a bad WiFi day and I'll change the rating if it gets better.

I've revisited this Starbucks, thinking well maybe it was just a fluke, the wrong time to use the Internet. It has been a few months ago now. And... Internet results are worse than dialup.
In my opinion, I am unlikely to come back here. The location is great! The atmosphere is good. Parking is kind of difficult sometimes. But the Internet? In my opinion, I am better off sending mail with USPS.
