❇️Eleanor Pardee Park, Palo Alto

✨ Well-maintained, quiet neighborhood park

🛝Two playgrounds for endless fun. Newer one is fully gated and perfect for toddlers. Rubberized floor, adorable play hut and no tan bark 👍. The 🔹blue and 🔸orange colored play area has swings, slides and a sand pit.

🛴 A paved loop for scootering or balance biking

🌿 Spacious grassy field for 🏃🏻running around, playing ball⚽️, 🪁 kite flying etc

🌻 Don’t miss the Community Garden with an ‘Edible' garden to learn about fruits and veggies and Water Wise Garden to know about native plants. ℹ️ Open Garden Days: Both gardens are open and staffed by Master Gardeners every Saturday morning, 10 am to noon, from May through September (weather permitting). Details about events and garden schedule can be found at Santa Clara Master Gardeners' website @mgsantaclara

🚻Nope. Please plan accordingly (3min drive - nearest cafe, 1min drive - another park with restrooms) 🅿️Street parking

This park has left our family a lot of great and warm memories, as we have organized 15 annual summer BBQ+Potluck party for over 30-40 families and friends through the years from 2005 to 2022, kids from 3+ to 20+, and we have a collection of wonderful pictures to show. We usually start the party from 3:00pm until sunset, kids used to play fire or cook their own mash mellow for fun, now they are grown-ups and cook the BBQs for parents and friends, the only drawback is lack of restroom nearby, you have to go to a friend’s house or to a grocery store or a coffee shop nearby. All in all, this is a great place for our family and...

I had an overall enjoyable stay with friends at the park with friends amid covid 19. We tried to have a picnic and brought lunch. We brought picnic blanket to sit on the grass but there's not a tons of shades and the ground was bumpy and it's was not that nice to sit on the grass. There's some trees that looks really nice though. It's a place for the local neighborhood. I didn't see a lot of benches or tables but we didn't really explore the...
