Beware of this theater! Their business practices are less than honest. I purchased “date night” tickets for my wife and I online, and the stipulations for the purchase and attendance were clearly stated, and we met those. Several days before the performance, I received an email showing that these stipulations had been changed, and that we would not be allowed to attend the performance. TheatreWorks changed the terms of the “contract of sale” after the sale was made, an illegal and immoral practice. My wife’s medical disability was dismissed by Theatreworks, and I was not allowed to speak to anyone in charge — the ticket staff said simply that we would not be allowed to attend, and they would not consider any exemptions to their new rules. Read moreWe are season ticket holders. While the Lucie Stern Theater has its charms I prefer the venue at the Performing Arts Center in Mountain View. Lucie Stern is showing its age. Seats are small and not so comfortable. It feels cramped and there's not much rise, so having someone tall sit in front of me can be a disaster. Also parking can be challenging.
