A great place to talk to vets and learn military history. The Coast Guard helicopter on display is one that crashed; resulting in the deaths of the crew. People always joke about the Coast Guard, but many don’t realize that they put themselves at risk like all the other branches.
While it’s a small museum, when I visited there back in 2021, I was there for hours; talking to the vets that run the museum and talking about how my time in the Air Forces compared to there’s back in the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
