Over the top reastaurant locates in Pampa, Texas. Kozy Korner Restaurant is a family owned, run & actually prepare the food!! Home cooking, baking, frying at it's finest!! We stopped in (me & my grandkids) for a late lunch. We were amazed. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was prepared there (not trucked in). We met Dolvin (I apologize if I spelled it wrong sir) who ran everything in the front and his father (didn't catch his name who) made the best catfish ever!!!! My granddaughter was wound up over the homemade dinner rolls and the best mac-n-cheese ever. She even scarfed down her brother's fruit salad. Got there about 1:30 on a Sunday... couldn't hardly find anybody. We were run through the cafeteria line which was practically out of everything. I had to go get our own water. When it was time to leave, we couldn't find anyone to pay...finally found someone and they want $15+ apiece for some meat and a little dish of corn and water. I protested, so the kid got his father, and after I finally got him to understand what we got, he agreed to half-price. He told us there was food we could have ordered, that was never offered to us. Y'all this was some of the best food I've ever ate. The rolls were so lightweight, soft n crunchy at the same time. The smothered porkchop fell right off the bone and you didn't even have to cut it..it was that tender. I had the chicken fried chicken and it was amazing. The flavor of the Mac n cheese was something I've never tasted before, but it was so delicious. The gravy for the mashed potatoes was packed full of flavor and you can tell everything is homemade.
