Paramus Mini Golf — Attraction in Paramus

It was July 14, 2018 and I had my sons birthday party at the miniature golf course at the Country Club. I won a party for 12 kids to play at a Tricky Tray so I asked my son who turned 12 if he wanted to do mini golf. He said yes. When i went there to look at the Course ( being I never even knew we had a mini golf outdoors here), the person listed on the paper no longer works there so another gentleman introduced himself and explained how everything worked. Perfect. We set the date and time. I even called on July 6th to confirm the party.. great.. confirmed. Now it's the day of; I arrived at the golf course, there are 2 older woman working in the house. She asked if I was there for the party i said yes. That was it. Not who she is or anything. I started to set up the picnic tables, kids started to arrive , party was scheduled for 11 to 1. Kids are arriving including the parents, it is now 1130 and still No Direction as what to do. I finally went up to the little house and brought the kids up and now they said are you ready? Its now 1130 and im already 30 min lost play time. As I continue the shorter lady ( i think her name is Lisa) was rude, not only did i have another player come to get a put and ball, but instead she took the other people first. The ladies barely said 2 words the entire time. When the kids got to the 16th hole she had sent my lil brother over to tell me that it is 1230 and the kids need to eat cause they have another party coming at 1. I am now thinking to myself i lost 30 min with no direction in the beginning and now my party ends at 1 so why would they be rushing me to be out exactly by 1 pm. ( mind you there was NO other party at 1, that was just a lie). So I rush the kids back to eat and have cake. As I am doing that she so graciously offers me a garbage bag. Now it is 1:15 and the kids are all finishing the 2 holes they didnt get to complete. Umm yeah mind you we didnt even start until 1130 or later. The bottom line is if I didn't win the party, i would not have one there, only because the way I was treated. Even when I went to settle up the bill, she wanted to charge me for the party and i gave her the paper that was signed by Cheryl, she stated it's not written in the book, so i said, they knew and you would have to speak to them (people in the office that i scheduled with). It's just the principle of how I was treated, this is the only reason I am writing this review.

The sad part about this is so many of my sons friends and their parents had no idea this Golf Course existed and they were just as shocked of how these older woman treated us as consumers. The only thing positive is my son had a wonderful time with his friends playing mini golf and the weather was great.

The only thing I would change, is to create a happy fun place. To be able to do that you would need to hire people that are happy and fun,...

Fun family mini golf spot with enough variety in the holes that you're not bored of the course. It was very crowded when we went and we had to wait to play each hole. It was a super sunny day and there are no good shaded spots to wait though (although there is a shaded seating area at the house and if you want to bring some snacks etc). Great outdoor mini-golf course, atmosphere and price (adults $8, child 8 and under $5).

Loved the course nods to the GWB, Sinatra, Springsteen, Yogi, etc. Holes were more intermediate to challenging, so you may want to offer a little extra help for younger ages.

Overall, fun experience and would visit again.
