What a cool local spot! We have been visiting Park Plaza in Park City for over 30 years, and never spent time at Prospector Park.
The kids got sleds for xmas, so we needed a hill (a small hill). This was right by our hotel, and had the perfect little trails and hills.
It was covered in snow, and even had a cute little bridge we sleded down. There were just enough trees to make you feel like you were out in the wilderness, and the people in houses near by semmed to enjoy that families could use the park and have fun.
My only concern was the frozen lake/stream surrounding the park. I don't know how deep it was, but there were warning signs. Sooo, just keep your eye on little ones and pups.
