Oh my gosh! Hello Park City elevation and THANK YOU Vitamin Bar!! I came to Utah to housesit and after a short time thought I was fighting a bug, but nope! I was fighting Mother Nature and the high elevation’s effect on my coastal town red blood cell count. But thank so much goodness for The Vitamin Bar!! I was hurting, and I won’t go into all the details at all (you’re welcome 😂) so I had reached out to another company for an o2 rental, but no immediate response. When I reached out to The Vitamin Bar and told them of my challenges, they were SO KIND, and did not hesitate to get me in! We were emailing in the evening and they offered their 9am appt the following morning…you bet I took it! Because of the severe dehydration, IV was going to have wait. The nurse, who also works ER (you have to love when you meet people with experience who really know what they are talking about!) I was given instructions on how to better hydrate, notified they would be on call over the weekend, and to keep them posted. Long story a little bit shorter, I contacted them the next day. They were at my home within an hour! 2 bags of fluids, complete with meds and an O2 machine later, and I was already feeling so much better! Amazing knowledge, additional information on how to keep hydrated and manage the elevation, and incredibly understanding people who are passionate about what they do! These people were amazing and I can’t say enough great things about how the Meyers bag made me feel. I was on my third day of 12 hour shifts with heavy lifting with 2 more days left. I was beat down and had no strength or energy to finish the job. I contacted them after hours and they still responded and set me an appointment right at opening. The employee was extremely sweet and helpful. After receiving the Meyers cocktail I went back to work. I felt it kick in immediately but a couple hours in to work I had incredible energy and forgot about how hard it was to get out of bed that morning.
