JG Art Gallery + Events — Attraction in Park City

We had a wonderful experience working with Jude and Janet at JG Art Gallery on Bainbridge Island. We fell in love with an artist’s work, which was on exhibit during Art Walk. Despite a crowded event, Jude took time out to show us some of the artist’s larger pieces that were not hanging in the exhibit. Her insight and expertise helped us to find the perfect piece for our home. First, Jude sent us a “virtual image” of the pieces and then Janet went out of her way to accommodate our schedule to “try out” several pieces in person before we made our final selection. As longtime Park City visitors, my husband and I have visited most of the galleries on Main Street and J Go (and its predecessor Phoenix Gallery) remains our favorite. The contemporary art gallery is really three galleries in one with a beautifully curated collection of paintings and mixed media, a striking and unique collection of jewelry, and the wonderfully whimsical Wonderbox section. Park in the China Bridge lot on Swede Alley and treat yourself to an art stroll on your way to Main Street. As an artist and collector, I always find a piece of art I would love to purchase at J GO Gallery - from unique pieces in the Wonder Box, to unusual jewelry that are truly classified as "wearable art", to sculptures and paintings of all medium and even furniture!
