Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library — Attraction in Parkersburg

I have loved this library ever since I was a kid. Large selection and variety of books, though a little heavy on the adult mysteries. They have all sorts of comic books and Japanese manga. Their cookbook section is fantastic as well. They have a very nice selection of DVDs, CDs and Blu-rays, and always have the newest season of a popular show or the latest hit movie in. Nice variety of newspapers and magazines as well. The kids room is brightly decorated and feels like a child's personal space. The place itself is always clean and in order, and they even put in new drink and snack machines downstairs after the renovation. I sometimes use the computers and I have never complained about two hours being too long or short. The Wi-Fi set up is a little confusing compared to using it at home. We moved to Parkersburg a year ago and really haven't traveled anywhere or explored too many places. I had to notarized something and after researching public notaries, we discovered this library does offer it for free. After arriving, my impression went wow. Out of all the libraries, this one has to be the most organized, clean, and more services than any other ones I've been too.
