Pasadena Little Theatre — Attraction in Pasadena

Update: highly recommemd seeing their latest play: A Family Gathering. Quite funny and poignant!

A lovely local theater with very reasonable ticket prices for a nice night out. Great way to support local arts and get live entertainment for the price of a movie. The venue is intimate, the seats are nice and comfy for bigger folk, and they always do a great job with their productions, all with volunteer staff and actors. Very glad to have them as a local arts option. The quality of acting is sometimes hit and miss in the cast (significantly more hit than miss), but I have ALWAYS been well-entertained and pleased by the experience and very impressed by the hard work that is put into it by everyone. If you are contemplating a family outing this weekend or next, I highly recommend The Rainmaker at the Pasadena Little Theatre. I attended the performance tonight and found it to be truly exceptional. The play elicited a wide range of emotions, including laughter and tears, and the entire cast delivered outstanding performances. You will not be disappointed. I enjoyed it greatly.
