The hot food at this store is not all that good. Today was my second time trying the food. Last time , I got a plate of half pollo, arroz, platanos, and chile rellenos. Everything was ok, except the chile rellenos. The best thing that day was platanos and then the pollo. I didn't go in there today for hot food, but since it was getting later in the day, I decided to go ahead and give the food another try. I got the milanesa de pollo em, platanos, 4 tacos with 2 different kinds of beef, and arroz. The tacos were nasty. One of the beef meats was tough and old, so I gave up on that. Next, the milanesa de pollo didn't taste good either, as if it had been sitting there a while. The platanos tasted ok, but when I went to grab a third one, I realized it looked weird. That turned me away from eating anymore. The rice was the only thing I could eat, which by then I didn't even want that anymore. Perhaps I'll eat it tomorrow. I called the store, and I was told I could go back with my receipt and if I still have the food to bring that as well so they can see what they can do. I know I don't want any more food from there, so it would have to be a refund. I was about to go back to the store, but I was too exhausted. Not only do I lose out on my money, but I also lost out on eating. Lesson learned, and I won't be ordering any more hot...

I'm always looking forward to a little snack y una agua fresca while I wait for my boyfriend to buy the goods para la carne asada. This is my new favorite one stop shop. Today we had an unfortunate experience. After we had had an amazing taco de Barbacoa and already made plans to return the following Sunday, we were putting our groceries away when the security guard came and verbally assaulted my boyfriend. There was a homeless person he was trying to give 2 dollars to. And she came with a cigarette in her hand and started accusing my boyfriend that he was the one asking for money and called him a "pendejo". This went on for about 3 minutes. The homeless person had walked away at the start of the altercation but the security lady kept her aggression on my beloved. I was very uncomfortable with the situation overall and am sad at the thought of not coming back on Sunday in case of any residual ill will. This whole altercation...

Hot Food Service: This is another hit or miss place. Most places that serve carnitas (with free salsa) run out before noon. I was shocked they still had some late afternoon so I ordered a pound. Asked for salsa they said they didn't provide that when I could clearly see small individual ones behind her. They wanted me to purchase their $4-5 salsa instead of satisfying me with one taco serving of salsa. I do understand they would like to charge for a quart of salsa. But not providing you with one ounce with your order is just pitiful. And bad for business. I think they are trying to copy La Michocana where I stopped shopping years ago.
