Proof Kitchen and Bar — Attraction in Pasco

UPDATED: Came In one day with my sister for an early lunch, the parm fries were really good and the food plating looked very cute and aesthetic. In all honesty nothing is wrong with this place but id prefer bobs burger, cute spot for a date night though :))

First Experience: For now its getting a one star (just because I really wanted to try this place so I will try again a different time), me and my boyfriend walked in and was told we will be seated we walked around the corner to check the games they had because they said they just had to clean some tables off. There was a couple who was there before us they got seated we came back to be taken next because there was an empty table we werent even gone for 2 minutes and came back to our spot right when the hostess came back and we were the nexts ones that were in line and a couple that came in AFTER us was taken to the table and not us. Then was told we had to wait 40 minutes to be seated… to be honest we was hangry and so we left because like how do you seat people out of order and we the same number of persons. During our recent weekend stay for a swim meet at a nearby hotel, we stumbled upon this culinary oasis, and what a delightful discovery it was. Located conveniently with ample parking, our experience began with a warm welcome from the attentive staff, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food - it was nothing short of spectacular! Each dish we sampled was a symphony of flavors, expertly crafted and beautifully presented. The classic burger and fish n' chips were tasty. However, the real star of the show was the Killer mac n' cheese - indulgent, creamy, and utterly irresistible. It was a dish that left us craving more.

My husband and I are heartbroken to say we won’t be returning to Proof, a restaurant we’ve genuinely loved for years. As a family, we’ve made it a tradition to dine here at least once a month, and it’s always been a place we’ve looked forward to for great food and atmosphere.

Today, my husband and I stopped in for lunch and were initially excited to see a new menu. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned to disappointment. I truly don’t want to sound harsh, but I feel it’s important for the owner and team to know that the food was far from the quality we’ve come to expect. The salsa had an unusual, almost ammonia-like taste that was very off-putting, and my wrap was overwhelmed with cabbage—so much so that it drowned out the other ingredients.
