I ordered the rogan josh, extra spicy, and garlic naan. My mother ordered the house curry, mild, which included cranberry naan. We were served a free papadum to crunch on as our order was cooked. While my mother was disappointed because she thought her dish was too spicy, which it most definitely was not at all hot in any way, I found myself sweating profusely from the delicious and flavorful heat of my lamb curry. I found the house curry to be filled with spinach and tender, moist chicken breast in a sweet, savory, creamy sauce that was well complimented by the little bursts of tangy cranberries in the included naan. The lamb in the rogan josh was both extremely tender and juicy while not tasting "gamey" because all the excess fat had been expertly trimmed away leaving me with a large portion of heavenly, tender lamb chunks. While the rogan josh was ordered hot, and IT WAS very hot, I found the heat to be perfectly burning my mouth without lingering and making me uncomfortable nor did it upset my digestion. I will definitely be going back regularly to eat my way through the remainder of their menu and all the while I will be telling all of my friends. Having consumed similar dishes at two other Indian restaurants in the Tri-Cities area, and regretting the decision on both occasions, I am very pleased to have discovered Love Curry...
Read moreOTHER WORLDLY EXPERIENCE!!! My mood was a little sad at first but as soon as my husband and I got our food... WOW. I honestly feel this is the best food I've had in all of Washington (possibly anywhere) since we moved here in April 2022. The owner/chef took down our order, he gave us great suggestions when we asked. Sooooo nice and helpful. His recommendations were so good. Clean atmosphere, cute tables and lovely simple serving plates that just made the food stand out.
We ordered the Butter Chicken, Spinach and Coconut Curry Chicken, cranberry naan and an almond milk black chai tea with sugar.
We learned how to serve ourselves almost family style and share our two plates with each other. All the things we ordered had such depth and smelled divine. Buttered chicken with a medium spicy level with white basmati rice and the cranberry naan to dip was EXQUISITE
Read moreButter chicken 5/5 Ordered 2 portions one mild, one medium spice. Neither of us could discern a difference spice wise, Both portions were absolutely delicious, though. Definitely pulled up the average.
Naan 4/5 also delicious, we ordered the garlic and classic naan.
Aloo tikki 5/5 this was a bit of a gamble for us but it might have been the best dish we ordered.
Pakora 2/5 was on the verge of being overcooked and should have been served with some kind of sauce. Too dry, too much dry spice. Don't recommend.
Vegetable sizzler 1/5 the biggest single portion of anything we ordered, but lacked any distinct indian flavors. Order this if you were dragged to an Indian restaurant against your will.
All in all, loves curry would be 5 stars, even with the disappointing dishes, if the portions were just a little bit bigger or the prices were just a little bit lower. The high notes just outshined...
