Ok, so this was the biggest disappointment of eating out. The most expensive Mexican food I have ever had (and out mexican food fanciest restaurants in SoCal, Mexico, Michelin star Mexican restaurants). 4 people bill with one drink, 2 fountain drinks and we ordered tortilla soup, 2 tamales, 3 enchilada and 3 tacos cost us $129. And after we paid they brought a bill woth another $5 tax added on top of the 10% tax that was in the original bill. The size of $10.50 guacamole fit in a ramekin, it was about a half of an avocado blended. The only thing that had a flavor was salsa. Soup had no favor, tamales were bland, but soft, enchilada sauce was worse than grocery store bought. Picante...Pirate.... dried up steak tacos AL carbon were $30+. Having worked in restaurants every position for many year, comprehending how less than an oz of cheapest steak, tortilla, beans, iceberg Lettuce and rice and cost over $30 is out of my realm. The rent in Richland WA can't ve more expensive than bay view in California. There is no excuse for serving sub par food without a single Mexican flavor in it and charging steak house prices. Read moreThis was the first time in 25 years that we held our event at a different facility and HAPO went above and beyond to assist us in making the transition. They invited us into the Event Center twice over the past year to do walkthroughs of the facility with our team, and they were extremely helpful in answering all our questions and helping us plan our event. During the event, the facility was clean, and set-up was exactly as indicated on our preplanned floor layouts. The most outstanding part was the HAPO staff. Every person that we worked with before, during, and after the event was excellent! They cleaned during the event, answered questions, assisted anyone and everyone that approached them. What a fantastic venue! It’s incredibly flexible—perfect for everything our clients event needed, an expo space, along with networking, an auction, and dinner.
The staff was outstanding and truly a pleasure to work with. On the day of the event, we hit a minor snag, but Chuck and Goose jumped in immediately and handled it seamlessly, allowing us to stay focused on managing all the incoming vendors.
