Okay so i’m going to start by addressing the other reviews that say they only care about 4c kids. this is a lie. wether or not your 4c you will be unhappy. i let a lot of stuff slide with this place in the 1 month i left my daughter with these people. the first day i dropped off my baby she went through 4 OUTFITS in one day. they needed more sets of clothes because she soiled all of them which led me to know they weren’t changing her as they should. this pattern went on for a bit again i didn’t say anything eventually it lightened up and sometimes she came home in the same outfit she left in. accidents are expected of course but that many is just carelessness. rosie the teacher got an incredible attitude on her and one day she’s going to run into the wrong parent. the owner appeared to be nice but switched very quickly when it was time to have a one on one. my daughter eats every 4 hours she has since 3 months old no issues at all following all pediatrician recommendations. so much of my family has baby sat my child and no one has ever had an issue but the first day she stays with them they said she can’t do 4 hour intervals. i informed them she does this at home no issues they kept pushing back so i spoke to her doctor and we increased her milk half ounce after that the aids told me everything was fine and i never heard about it again. two days ago her father goes to pick her up and they don’t even let him grab the baby they bring him to the owner and she tells him the feedings need to change and they’re not going to starve her and she’s crying like she’s starving. not going to bore with the whole story long story short the lady said if she can’t change her schedule then she can’t be there. ultimately me and her father held our tongues i spoke to her aid the next day and told her i was uncomfortable with the conversation we had because it made me feel like this woman was about to call CPS on me and if she could please keep me informed also on what was going on with the feedings and stuff. (i also increased her milk again and put extra bottles although i always had one extra bottle in there that was never used) tell me why this lady goes to the owner and tells her that i said that she said my kid was bad and she called cps on me 🤦🏼‍♀️ i stg you can’t make this up. i told them it was clearly a miscommunication and as i’m speaking to the owner i even tell her if she needs me to i can speak to the aid again and she informs me EVERYONE was in the room listening to the conversation. THE WAY I HELD MYSELF FROM BURSTING OUT LAUGHING FROM THE UNPROFESSIONALISM!!!!!! what kind of high school bs. i know you work in childcare didn’t know that meant you had to be that childish smh. anyways. rosie even tried to put her two cents in and kept talking in the background which is again unprofessional basically they tried to gang up on me over the phone. instead of having a one on one in person talk like NORMAL PEOPLE DO. that same day i called my family, had my daughter pulled out as i truly felt as though they were going to mistreat her and called 4cs to cancel the contract. what was even funnier ? 4Cs told me word for word ‘people do this all the time with them so they won’t be suprised.’ and immediately helped me put in a formal complaint. also told me to check my child and to call the police immediately if they harmed her. since my daughter started there she went from waking up 1 time in the night for a feeding to 4 times a night for a feeding and anyone knows for a 5 month old. now i have to deal with these consequences of her regression, this should not be happening and it’s all because they think they have the right to dictate when my child eats regardless of how it affects her and her daily life. they want their kids milk drunk so they’re easier to deal with. my daughter will not be overfed because you don’t know how to calm a fussy baby 30 min prior to her feeding. go back to school. nobody should come here honestly save your time. look for another place that will value your child’s presence. because this...

The pro they open at 6am , This daycare facility should remove the word academy from their name . They are a daycare (babysitters) at best and even then the word CARE is used loosely. I spoke with my child teacher about the lesson plans the reason we would not be returning in the fall , she agreed that they were well below what the children should be learning at their age and ability levels. I HONESTLY DON'T THINK THE SO CALLED TEACHERS THAT WORK THERE ARE CERTIFIED ! There is also no communication about what the children are learning or having difficulty learning . THEY USE YOUR BABY SUPPLIES WHEN ANOTHER KID IS RUNNING LOW ! My baby used to come home with a diaper on when in pull-ups I would ask if she running low because she has on a diaper then they'll let me know yes she needs this and that .

Anyone with small children knows that they are often sick during the winter months , this daycare's policy is ' ANY CHILD SICK WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAY / ANY CHILD FOUND SICK DURING THE DAY WILL BE SENT HOME .' One day while feeding my child a mom and the teacher spoke about the child being sick and the mom left leaving the child to attend school , the teacher herself goes on to say ' YEAH SHE DOES FEEL WARM ' and in my head I'm sitting there like so why didn't you tell the mom she can't stay. My child spent the winter months in and out of the Dr. office / hospital because of the number of viruses she picked up ! She would recover from one the become ILL again after returning with the next virus . After all of the issues during the winter/spring months and lack of child education I found an EXCELLENT pre school for my child to attend in the fall , she would remain at AKPA for the summer but was informed on a FRIDAY JULY 26TH,2024 , that the following Monday will be my child's last day because they didn't have room for her since she's leaving anyway in SEPTEMBER . THAT PUT ME OVER THE EDGE ! But THANK GOD FOR MY CHILD'S VILLAGE , THEY STEPPED UP WITHOUT ME ASKING AND WILL BE KEEPING MY CHILD WHILE I'M AT WORK ! THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL & INCONSIDERATE !!! First and foremost I would like to debunk other reviews that claim that this establishment only cares about 4cs clients etc I am not from the neighborhood nor do I receive 4cs my child has gone to some of the fancy daycares and I have to say the experience I have had at AKPA has been absolutely hands down nothing short of magnificent the entire staff has been so loving and caring with my daughter who has some delays and different needs than most children they have not once let it hinder her they have even sat down with me to discuss the best ways to help her they are supportive and accommodating of me as the parent and foster an environment that my daughter can’t wait to get to every morning this is what the introduction to school should be like. the owner is absolutely amazing and very hands on (I would consider her a very responsible and empathetic person and I admire what she has been able to create with this center kudos to her) every single person there has made me feel welcomed and embraced and made my daughter feel as though this is her 2nd home and we haven’t even been there long! my daughter is communicating like never before interacting with other children and really starting to thrive here more than ever I can’t express my gratitude in enough words but I can say I look forward to her future at this center for many years to come and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality childcare with a strong emphasis on true education as well as a loving, caring family environment I would give them 10...
