Paterson Skatepark — Attraction in Paterson

This park is great for beginners intermediate and for the hard core skaters ect. It gives you a smooth ride all around and it's great to advance I've gone to so Many skateparks and never got good because the ramps were for pros and it was hard to learn but in Paterson it's great it gets pretty packed during the day but it gives it a good go skate day kind of vibe by far my favorite skatepark and no one there starts problems unless you start it your self everyone knows everyone who Goes there so you shouldn't worry about your stuff being stolen unlike the guy on The bottom I heard he was a...

I'm highly appreciative of the fact Paterson got blessed with a skatepark; the issue is that the blessing doesn't feel well met. There's a homeless situation, that is well aware and that can be off-putting. On another note, I do wish they expanded the park waaay more, there's space that's covered with sawdust and then a basketball court; I also appreciate basketball, but can we at least have a skatepark, by itself? I've gone to Paterson Skatepark a few times. The box there is pretty bad as your trucks don't lock in too well, but is definately still skateable. Everything else is good, the obstacles just seem a bit too close to one another, and prevents the park from having a good flow. One other thing, in the evenings when it gets packed, which is most days with decent weather, the scene sucks. People snake you left and right, and it just sucks. Tenafly skatepark is a ton better, you should check that one out instead if your looking...
