Quality Halal Meat Market — Local services in Paterson

I went to this "halal meat" store to buy some meat, but the store committed blatant fraud. I’m absolutely outraged by their dishonest practices:

The store used carefully trimmed steaks as display samples, but what they actually sold to customers were untrimmed, lower-quality cuts. This is outright deception—they’re luring customers in with something they never intend to sell.

They secretly swapped the trimmed steak sample with another piece that was clearly not fresh. That’s not just false advertising, it’s a deliberate act to mislead customers and cover up poor-quality meat.

They advertised lamb chops at "$10 per pound", and sold pre-packaged lamb labeled at $46.75. But the actual weight was only 2 pounds and 13 ounces. That means the price per pound was much higher than claimed—this is textbook fraud.

And this wasn’t a one-time incident. The store has pulled stunts like this more than once—check the Google Maps reviews and you'll see a pattern of deceit.

Finaly, When I called the shop owner to confront him about the fraud, he claimed I had "called the wrong person" and outright denied that the sale even took place that day. Unbelievable. Instead of taking responsibility, he tried to deflect and dodge accountability.

So I went straight to the bank and reported the store for fraudulent activity, and I disputed the charge on my credit card. I refuse to let this kind...

Avoid this shop on 829 Main St, Paterson. I went last week to buy meat, and saw hotdogs for sale. Both beef and chicken hotdogs were on sale. I was told they got it from ENA Meat Packing, Paterson (which is Sharia Board NY approved). When I asked again to make sure, the guy was annoyed: "I told you 4 times it is from ENA !". I bought both chicken and beef hotdogs, and after coming home called ENA Meat Packing to verify. (1) They told me that their hotdogs always carry label. There was NO label on the ones sold by Quality Halal Meat Market. (2) ENA Meat packing sells ONLY beef hotdogs. They do not make chicken hotdogs. So how come Quality Halal sold chicken from ENA (3) When I called Quality Halal to find out why they told me it was from ENA, the guy who answered said "everything we sell is halal. Don't waste my time...

Fresh meat and amazing service!

I stopped by Quality Halal Meat Market and picked up some fresh ribeye steak; absolutely delicious! You can taste how fresh and high quality the meat is.

The butcher was super nice and really knew his stuff. We chatted for a bit, and he even cut the meat exactly the way I like it. It’s rare to find someone who takes that kind of care to make sure customers are happy.

Everything looked clean and fresh. You can tell they take pride in their work and in keeping customers satisfied.

Definitely my new favorite spot for halal meats. I’m already planning to go back for some lamb...
