While Larry Doby Baseball Field is technically abandoned and doesn’t see much action these days, it’s still a pretty cool spot to check out if you’re into local history or just like exploring hidden gems. The place definitely isn’t well cleaned—you’ll spot overgrown grass, some scattered trash, and the bleachers have seen better days. But there’s something kind of nostalgic about it all. You can almost imagine the crowds and the crack of the bat from years gone by. I really loved the baseball Games there and I'm also glad that I get to play while also spending time with my friends and cousins. Also my kids really love watching me play and the baseball game and the playground, they never get bored of going down the slide or playing tag . I'm proud of the memories I made and i can't...

They're doing a fine job in resurfacing the baseball field , Hopefully it will be finished soon. This is the first spring that there's been no baseball played here in over two decades. I was there back in the early 90's when they honored Larry Doby at the dedication ceremony and the one thing he said was,as long as they take care of it ,He would be honored to have his name represented with the field.Well I can say he should be proud.They have maintained it well over all these years and now to see them do this makes me proud for him Great job .

I really loved the baseball Games there and I'm also glad that I get to play while also spending time with my friends and cousins. Also my kids really love watching me play and the baseball game and the playground, they never get bored of going down the slide or playing tag . I'm proud of the memories I made and i can't wait for more.
