We were traveling back home from Dallas to Oklahoma City. We had seen the billboard and my husband is a huge Action Figure person. I am too. Lol. We figured we'd take a little side trip and go see this place. Wow! That was definitely a great idea to stop here. It does cost to get in. I think $7 bucks each. Totally worth it! There is so much to see and it is definitely stepping back in time and there is current items as well. We were in awe of this place. Seeing how happy my husband was and in his element. This place is great. I forget the ladies name, she was a little older...but was so very nice and welcoming. I happened to mention seeing Ninja turtles and that's my husbands favorite. The lady heard me and told us a story about the owner and how he likes them too. They have cool merch to buy as well. I can just go on and on about this place. It's set in an older building in a sweet nostalgic little town. It's so pretty in Paul's Valley too. If you get a chance and driving thru Oklahoma or on vacation...you need to see this place. It is so worth the drive. We can't wait to take my kiddos to see it as well. Very family friendy and cute photo op spots. I highly...
Read moreFor Father’s Day we took my husband to the Toy and Action Figure Museum. We were not sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The amount of toys and action figures is hard to explain. Everywhere you look is more to see. When I say they have a little of everything I am not exaggerating. They have an action figure of the meat that Rocky Balboa punched in the Rocky movies, action figures, disney movie figures, and even My Little Pony figures. I would recommend taking the time to stop and look. With a 4 year ol we were concerned, but they have an area with action figure clothing, toys, and areas for kids to play. This was a great stop! Make the time to visit while you are here.
We had the added joy of getting to meet Kevin Stark. Most of the collection is from his personal collection. He also designed his own comic named Geezer, and designed many toys for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. There is a whole display of toys he has designed. Very nice man! As a side note: Cameras are welcomed...
Read moreI’ve been to this establishment 3 times now and I never get tired of it! This was the first time our youngest was able to visit and he was very impressed - mostly with the ride on cars! :) The vast array of memorabilia and nostalgia just brings such joy to my 80s kid heart. The displays are fabulous and you can spend hours just looking at them all. The last time we were there several years ago the big “room” was Batman themed but I was pleasantly surprised to find it filled with Star Wars this go round! I recommend this establishment to anyone who is a movie fan, tv fan, pop culture fan, 80s nerd, collector, a breathing person. It’s just great and really makes your inner child giddy. Bring quarters for the ride on machines if you have little ones in tow. The front includes a shop with reasonably priced toys...
