I order breakfast from this establishment at least 3 out of my 5 work days and I love the morning crew. Kortney knows my order when sees my number and Jewel knows exactly how to prepare the food. However, the evening shift is horrible. The last 3 times I have ordered, my order has been messed up. Tonight was no difference. I ordered 2 burgers and instead of the tots or fries, I requested pickle-O's. I than requested an additional order of pickle O's. When I got home I received 2 orders and when I called to ask why I didn't get a 3rd, the waitress says well what do you have your ticket. I said there are 2 orders but I am just wondering why you didn't get my 3rd when we went over the order again. She said Oh!! Well I guess that my fault I didn't add them but the cook prepared what I put on the ticket. Seriously!!! that is your answer, no apology. Plus, I asked her to please make sure my bacon for the double burger was well done. Well I don't call bacon that falls over when you hold it up well done. Plus all of our burgers were burned. I have decided after this, I will only stick your breakfast where the staff actually cares about how they serve the ones who order. Just advice to everyone, if you order dinner, better review your order at least 3 or 4 times to ensure they...

So I was helping my friend move yo Pauls Valley, and we were getting a bit peckish. She had remembered that I was craving fried catfish the night before, and I had heard Boomerang Diner has the best fried catfish, so we decided to try it out, and boy, they didn't disappoint! Our waitress Emily was so very patient with my many questions about their ranch dressing! She is bubbly and energetic! Perfect first impression! She was attentive and made sure our drinks were never empty and promptly came back to ensure everything was to our liking! Beautiful personality and hard worker too! The ranch dressing is house made and made it worth ordering a salad! The fish was so flakey and crispy and yummy I ate every bit of my order! Even the fried okra was on point! The atmosphere was so nostalgic and fun! I really, really loved getting to spend time with my friend while enjoying a delightful, delicious meal in a fun place! It's worth the drive to head downtown Pauls Valley and visit this eclectic eatery! Two thumbs up! Emily even brought my friends ESA pup a treat of a bacon plate to go with her crunchy tatertots . I will be going back next time I'm in the area!...

The unfortunate part about leaving this review is the food was great. The service started off nice but our waitress stopped serving us after taking our order. Food arrived and she never checked to see how everything came out. She never refilled my drink which I was thirsty as I had been out all day long. The kicker is instead of servicing me she was sitting at the counter eating her own damn lunch, wonder if she refilled her own drink. Our receipt was hidden under all the food on our table and I had to again wait at the register to even pay. My wife is a waitress and insisted on leaving a tip or she wouldn't have gotten one and Ive never not left a tip before. The town is beautiful and fortunately if I ever stop by again I will not be stopping by the...

Today was a good day for a Sunday drive. We went to Pauls Valley and found the Boomarang Diner in the original downtown area. We arrived in time for an early lunch. It was encouraging to see most tables occupied and we received excellent service. The menu offered a good selection of “diner fare” and we did not wait long for our order to be in front of us. The atmosphere of being in an older downtown building certainly added to the enjoyment of the meal. we will certainly keep this place in mind for the future when we feel like combining a meal and a short road trip.

Food was very good, we had burgers, fries and shakes. Service was lacking. The staff gathered around together near the kitchen without any effort to refill water, check on how we liked the meals...A manager supervising would've taken care of that, though I'm sure merely finding people willing to work food service makes slipping customer service tolerable.
