I just recently bought a shotgun from a different location. Wanted to swap out the fore-end on it so I looked at youtube (this being my first firearm). Watched the vid on how to disassemble and reassemble but couldn't get the thing together again. Drove 4 minutes downtown to this place and walked in. One of the guys asked what I needed. Told him my situation and he asked me to set my gunbag on the counter so we could take a look. After stating again this was my first firearm and I was having trouble putting it together again, he stated he recommended youtube. I reiterated that's where i learned how to break the gun down, I just was doing something wrong to get it together again, and i thought i would ask them as experienced gun owners what i was doing wrong. He stated "yeeeah, I mean we can disassemble and reassemble but we like to have the gun already assembled when it arrives, so sorry we can't help you." I mean, maybe that's a policy of theirs for whatever reason, would have been nice to explain to me why. Idk. Seemed like a first time gun owner asking for meager help and advice would have been a great way to set up a returning customer for their shop. I would have worked on it all myself if he would have coached me for a few minutes on what to do. Idk just seemed like they didn't care...
