The Save A Lot market does not have a recycling bin and they rely on plastic bags. They don't have public restrooms. If you are lucky and wait, you can make it to one of the businesses nearby.
Also, it would be great if they added vegetarian/vegan options on their shelves! The only items I buy are veggies, fruits, rice, and cereal. The selection of tea, coffee and chocolate is good.
From the moment you walk inside you can tell that good people work there and enjoy their job. The guy at the pantry told me how great the pay is, he works fulltime, so that's that. Now we can all hope that HQ can upgrade the outside and inside for more convenience. It'll be great if the plaza had trees, benches and a spot for wheelchairs to be placed.
I have not visited the Laundromat yet or the weird looking discount store, I don't think they have much any quality items from what I could see from the outside. Probably it seems shadier because instead of windows they have cardboards and a plank of wood...
Read moreI Love to go & do my Laundry Here at Laundromax - different size machines, good attendants, open 24/7 & specials on small machines at certain times & days/nights. Also they have coupons for every month. I go to Save-A-Lot while my laundry washes. Lots of good buys on meats & cold or frozen foods here at the Save-A-Lot, plus the sales. It kills 2 birds w/ 1 stone. I generally read my email before I go- to read the weekly flyer- as my town doesn't have one & no flyer comes in the mail either. Plus - if I run out of detergent, bleach or fabric softener- I can run in here & get some that fits my budget. Sometimes I end up getting the LG. Size on sale! Occasionally I go to the discount store to browse there as well & I may pick up a few things while I am there. But the other 2 places are a regular stop at least...
