The Vineyard Church Pearland — Attraction in Pearland

We first came to the Vineyard when they were hosting in Rogers Middle School, and what we thought would be a brief visit turned into a home. This place and the people within it are without a doubt the most loving, caring, and thoughtful people we’ve ever known. They are our family. The pastor, Kurt, enjoys listening to all new ideas and concerns that come up and often implements small changes to improve the community as a whole. Even at the church I grew up in, I’ve never had a pastor so open and eager to discuss different ideas. The worship pastor, Devin, and the worship team are so passionate about what they do and they truly want to share the love they feel through their music. The children’s ministry is very active with lots of games, crafts, and Bible based discussions and lessons and they often correlate with the sermon that week so the lessons can be discussed as a family at home. Came today, 43 miles out of my way to hear The Word. Immediately after sitting down I was approached by Allen, a relative of the pastor and he would not leave me alone about someone else's personal problems. I was made to feel an outsider, alone and harassed. I asked him to allow me peace to hear the service. He refused. I sought help but the coffee bar people said he could do as he wanted. I left and he actually FOLLOWED me to my motorcycle. Mind you I've been going through so much lately I NEEDED to be there today. I'll NEVER be back and do not recommend this location to anyone. This has become my faith home and the people my family. I've never been so involved in a church community that really cared about each individual member and made you feel welcomed. The pastors and worship team are amazing. I love the small group and outreach opportunities... not to mention my kids LOVE the kids church. My daughter has really come to know God and learn about him. I love that she can recite Bible verses, initiates prayer, and legitimately begs to go to church on Sunday's. The people there are such great examples for her to grow in faith...
