I love this park! I've been coming to this park since I was little. It's a beautiful park and it is well set up. There are so many things here: Paved paths for walking/running/biking (with a marked 2 mile loop that tells you the distance each quarter mile), picnic tables, pavilions, playgrounds, RV grounds, little bridges, lakes, workout area, kids play area, tennis courts, racket ball courts, basketball courts, water park, mini golf, driving range, batting cages. The main entrance includes all areas except the mini golf, driving range, and batting cages; those have a separate entrance with no gate entry. This park is well-maintained. I love that this park is dog-friendly because my adventure dogs like to go on outings with us. This park is perfect for outings alone, with your dogs, and/or with your family. One area that I wish was better regulated is the dog-friendly aspect of the park; the county regulations require dogs to be on a leash that is a maximum of 6 feet. Some people let their dogs be off-leash. I recently saw someone let her 2 off-leash dogs into one of the lakes in the park. These types of things are what turn many dog-friendly places into no-dog places. Please keep your dogs on their 6-foot leash or go to a leash-free place. I have had limited interactions with staff at this location. The only day I have ever had an interaction with a manager at the entrance gate on a weekend, he was rude. My brief interactions with staff at the gate on weekends have otherwise been pleasant. The staff at the driving range/ mini golf counter are always friendly as well.

The park is big with plenty to do with family and friends. The park has a gate entrance fee of $1.50 per person, children 5 and under free. During the weekend, it gets packed with long lines to get in. There’s a golf court, tennis court, mini golf, and trails to walk or jog alongside the lakes. They have picnic tables throughout the park if you’re lucky you may find one under a shaded tree. They offer shelters for rent for birthday parties or other large gatherings where you can cook on the barbecue grill 🍗 🍔 They have a small water park for kids to have fun. Admission fees are $12.30/person for all-day admission and $8/person after 3 p.m. Children under 1 year of age are admitted free. Be prepared to be hot though, the majority of chairs are out in the sun. There are no shaded trees or areas you can sit to watch the kids. The park should improve this area with the heat index warnings we’ve been having it is extremely dangerous and it will get worse every year! Folks drink lots of water and stay hydrated! 🥵 I cannot comprehend where the money collected is being used. What is Broward County doing with our money? Where is our tax dollars going? The bathrooms are dirty and not maintained! A park could be beautiful and spacious with lots of activities but if the bathrooms are filthy it is a huge turn off!!! 🤬 I’ve been to fairly large parks such as this one in Miami-Dade…there is no entry fee and the bathrooms are cleaned and mopped everyday! Broward County you need to step it up!! C.B. Smith gets thumbs down! 👎

Located along Flamingo Rd., C. B. Smith Park is an extremely large park that offers so much amenities for the whole family. Upon the entrance, you can either turn left or right. On the right side of the park, you'll find a miniature golf course, a batting cage, and a pro shop where you can get large buckets for the driving range. I was amazed to see a few peacocks leisurely walking along the miniature golf course. One of them came right up to the fence where I was standing and I couldn't help to snap a picture of its beauty. Next, I drove through the left side of the park where you're actually entering the park. The park is open daily from 8am - 7:30pm. Entrance fee is $1.50 per person on the weekends and holidays, during the week it's free. There are many pavilions and picnic shelters throughout the facility that can be reserved for birthday parties and/or barbecues. There's also a campground site rental. There are many activities at C. B. Smith Park such as a basketball court, tennis courts, fishing pier, volleyball nets, small playground for kids, a safety town (which I haven't figured out what that was), and a fitness zone. And then, there's Paradise Cove water playground, which was the most crowded part of the park. Entrance fee is $10 per person for all day admission and $6.75 per person after 3pm. There's this large water pipeline with four big spiraling water slides going in different directions, as well as two water playgrounds for kids of all ages.

This park is amazing. We have stayed here a few times and it never disappoints. Stores, markets, restaurants, movies, malls and expressways are all nearby. Campsites have concrete pads and full hook-ups. There is a primative camping area for tents as well. Most sites have shade and there is a very pretty lake by it. Restroom facilities are always clean. If you like iguanas, be prepared to be surrounded by them. They dont get close to you but you can see them everywhere. The rest of the park is beautiful as well. Picnic tables, bathroom facilities, bike paths, kiddie parks, tennis, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, racketball courts all around. There is an exercise area as well. Right by the entrance you will also find a mini golf course, batting cages and a driving range and a pro shop. Last but not least, a waterpark. It was closed the last time we were here and they had covid testing facilities in the parking lot.

I brought my 7-year-old to this park a few days ago (on a Monday), and she had a blast. We got there at 10 am and left at 4 pm. It got a little busier between 11:30-3 but never overcrowded. There are enough pool chairs. However, I recommend you get there early to find a shaded spot. The food in the restaurant inside the water park isn't great, but their prices are. I bought a package with a pepperoni pizza slice, chips, and a drink for $4.50. Girls with zippers on the back or front of their bathing suits are asked to wear a shirt to go on the water slides, so plan on bringing an extra shirt. The big slides are closed and will be open until next year, but we enjoyed the other two splash areas that have smaller slides, as well as the lazy river. I appreciate that there was enough staff, and they were all actively redirecting kids and watching over their safety. I will definitely come back in the future.
