This is my favorite place to go because NO PLACE is like it! It is a sports bar, and specifically, a Pittsburgh Steelers Bar, firstly, and TVs are everywhere. You have a view of A HOCKEY RINK, along one entire wall of glass!!!! This is where any and all ages play at various times, you have an ice rink for all, a wall beyond the hockey ice rink. Above it is a Boxing Fitness Club for all ages.

Behind the building are kids throwing SNOW BALLS in Florida, beneath palm trees, because the Zamboni machine brings Ice i. The form of fast melting snow in the Florida heat. Where else are you gonna throw snow balls in blistering heat?

But the staff is the GREATEST ASSET. My beer gets replaced as soon as I am done. That is outstanding.

Despite my wishes, the ONE, SAME bar band plays two nights, EVERY Friday and Saturday and they play to backing tracks that ARE THE SONG without the vocals, essentially. The guitar player literally pretends on certain songs which is obvious when he isn't playing but you hear the guitar. Everyone else seems to PLAY their part and all of them si g their parts but when they're warming up and I keep hearing Earth Wind & Fire being tested out.... it functions but I just wish they had more acts that really play all parts.

Everyone at JP is great. Missy is the head bar tender and she kicks ass. My pitcher gets near empty and it is is replaced and ice bags are brought to keep it awesome.

Steven is a bar back who always makes you smile because he is 100 percent motivating in his ethic and his attitude.

The ownership, is Sherry, who has reserved my spot for me every Sunday for the past several years for Steelers games and she is amazing.

So many of the people who go are really good people. When we moved down here we left an Elks lodge that kicked ass!! We wanted the same thing we have at JP; everybody knows your name!! Everybody treats me outstanding there and I just love it.

I don't like to write a review like this but in this case it is most appropriate! The food is good but the staff is incompetent (accept for Chrissie)... and no one is willing to take responsibility! I find there is no management AND IT SHOWS! I ordered 10 wings, 16 wings and fries. 2 orders of 10 come to the table... I ask for the other 6 & fries. Fries come after done were done with wings! The additional 6 wings... never come, I told them to skip them. The bill came and...of course I got charges for 16 wings. 🥺 I inform the waiter and give a $100 bill to pay

The waiter come back with change which includes my $100 bill. 😱 Being honest I tell them... I give a generous tip and mention perhaps a compliment drink is in order for...and waiter agreed. 😊 I go to listen to music and drink never comes... I order a beer from bartender and tip again...! I mention to bartender that waiter agreed to comp a drink., saving bar $100+... After waiting for 10 minutes or more the bartender finally decided to the asks the waiter! Bartender comes back and says we don't have a key on the register to comp drink (know, they free por the drinks, HELLO! and basically offers a free water! 😄😅🤣😂🤣😅😄! I reply use his the tip or the $100 I saved the bar to pay for the few drink. After a stupid look on bartenders have I said f_ _ k it! (Not exact words)

The place obviously needs management...the place "needs" a person that can make a decisions!!!

Do yourself a favor and go to Cagney's House of Rock Saloon, 5981 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33328. Same quality food and far better music?

Oh, btw did i mention while standing at the bar another patron was waiting for food so long his wife called to find out what was taking so long and didn't believe it was taking that long...

If you have time to wait and you have patience for ignorance go during slow days/hours otherwise...

JP Mulligans has been under my nose for so long and I’m glad I finally got to check it out. I went at 7pm on a Saturday which I noticed had a less waiting time than at 6pm from what Google told me. In truth, it was even less than that. I was seated immediately.

The service was exceptionally friendly. I felt right at home immediately. The drinks arrived fast and so did the appetizers. We had some fried broccoli for the table and it was delicious beyond expectation. My order was a grilled Mahi wrap which arrived at a reasonable time too. It too was delicious and the fries that came along with it were perfectly the right amount of crispy.

We left before 9pm and we noticed it was getting a little busier but still, the place seemed like it knew exactly how to handle “busy” and it maintained a comfortable easy-going vibe. A live band was setting up as we were walking out. I want to return soon at a later time to experience the live music and the late night atmosphere there.

Thanks again to the establishment and the staff. They are doing a wonderful job. I recommend this restaurant for anyone of all ages and I will review it further later at night when...
