Dollar General — Attraction in Penns Grove

Once again everyone needs to compromise when your franchise is a Newer Dollar General and your manager cannot be given the option to hire an extra employee and rotate the shifts. Well I am tired of this Temp. CLOSED, APOLOGIZE TO ALL OF "OUR" LOYAL CUSTOMERS.

Sorry to announce this secret but when I showed up to do My $50 spending limit at this franchise I'd expect the business is more than capable of the customer service department, management, pre screening hiring qualifications. Where is my Loyal Management going to step in and consider how to fire the bad apples who call off of work and force the other employee to stay because if nobody comes in to relieve first shift, then you have to stay until 10pm as the hours state. I TOOK PHOTOS OF THE HOURS IN PENNSGROVE NJ FROM 8AM-10PM FRIDAY. I SHOWED UP AT 6:45PM WITH LIGHTS ON BUT LOCKED DOOR AND THE temp sign which this post won't allow me to show proof, oh wait I lied just like they lie to me about their excuses to lock up are poor management. TOOK PHOTO ON FRIDAY AT 6:45PM Whoever was shift manager should sacrifice a $50 gift card to my Google account or in person. If I was manager, I'd have had to make sure there was 1 cashier and one manager. The Job is not Rocket Science. IM SURE CORPORATE DOESNT PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES ENOUGH CAUSING THESE DAYS TO LOSE MY $50 MINIMUM SPENDING LIMIT. CLEARLY THIS STORE NEEDS TO FIX THIS OR RELOCATE IF I DO NOT HEAR BACK FROM THE HR...

Store has a good variety of products for cheap, however store is constantly cluttered with their warehouse freight so that you cannot get down half the aisles. More importantly their is only 1 to 2 employees who provide customer service, and do not seem annoyed you are asking them questions. Have seen a manager get smart with it was either a vendor or employee in front of customers which just put everyone in an awkward situation. Store only had small selection of cold beverages yet whole aisles of warm ones. Recently and much needed they upgraded and added more cold products especially energy drinks...

This store use to be organized and clean, however now it's a disaster, its a total mess you can't get through the isles because the amount of boxes blocking. I do not know know if it's lack of help or the Management! It's a shame because this store is convenient for me, I guess I am going to have to go to the Pennsville location for now on. I hope Corporate see this review and maybe hire overnight people to try to get this...
