Lucky House Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Penns Grove

Ok this review is in 2 parts.

1st: I can only say the meal that was prepared was spot on. The General Tso Chicken and steamed dumplings were fantastic with just enough spice and heat that I can only wish other Chinese restaurants could replicate.

2nd: Because I'm only visiting the area for work and not a local, I really felt I was on the wrong side of the tracks where this restaurant was located. And I visited during the daylight hours.

I ordered $40 worth of food to feed my guess. 😩The shrimp fried rice was very dry; I got complaints of it tasting old! No one chose to eat it. Also the lomaine had very little moisture to it and just as a shrimp fried rice, the shrimp looked like they had been through a grinder! As you can see the entire pint of shrimp fried rice only had 2 pieces of shrimp and with no vegetables!😩I must say the hot and sour soup is always a great! I will think twice before...

I’m really disappointed. Paid $30 for general tso that tasted like it had been sitting all day. Got a small broccoli with garlic sauce, why it came with white rice is beyond me and the sauce was terrible. Got egg rolls, asked for extra duck and hot mustard, I didn’t get extra, and that was not duck sauce. I give up on anything in the area. I’ll eat Domino’s 8 days a...
