Stadium Park — Attraction in Peoria

Nice to see the Park District make use of this area.  My father likes to go for walks on the paved perimeter trail and we always take my young nephew here to play on the little playground.  I've seen numerous get-togethers at the pavilion and people often playing basketball on the courts. Makes a great place for walking your dog or flying a kite also.

Honestly I go there with my son an his friends to play basketball. Not always a pick up game there but I occasionally you can get a good group to play ball 🏀 other than that the double rims an black top court are ware players are made an go...

The area is very nice and plenty of room for multiple families to gather, however there is ZERO parking for handicap people. We were parked on the grass and the neighbors across the street from the park called the park district cops...
