New park. Nice. Real bathrooms+++ Should have shade coverings for equipment and seating Water rarely runs in splash pad Grass is not green always now Restrooms are closed before park ๐ป have no soap Restrooms are very dirty on holiday weekends Ampitheatre Stage has plugs Could be good for practicing instruction, dance routines, and more BeFit activities, cell phone station, and just having this basic to enjoy, except they are turned off :/ Old parks used to have tables with covering and outlet, you could enjoy your little birthday party etc and no reservation no fee. It seems one of these improved features (new park) loses the simpler things. I see it also lost the swing, no one wanted to figure a solution? ...and the merry go round has a governor preventing any sustained motion... But not injuries such as being stuck under it. Or having some physical attack getting overdone trying to get the thing going.... Nice idea, much appreciated. Use with care. Must avoid during the day due to heat. (which is the only time water ever comes on) Field area in the right spot, good for playing ball, etc (toss around,) tables for whatever.. BYO P there are chess tables and (or checkers.) There is a basketball court. Ice cream trucks come by. There's a mini mart nearby. A meat market/restaurant just opened next door as well. Nice Foliage planted (small plants, no shade trees) (note those giant flower sculptures don't shade so don't rely on that, I and I guess aren't solar panels either?) Water fountains next to restrooms Thank you.

ย ย ย Read moreCurrently it's under construction but the park is still open well, as far as the grass and jungle gym area but the water park area is gated and being worked on . Don't know when they will be finished but hope that it's soon other than that Park is nice with green grass dog friendly and other than the local unfortunate I should say don't want to call them homeless or degenerate but other then them hanging out in the back concrete slab area they are respectful and usually don't bother the park visitors at least I am speaking for myself I go there with my dog and my 10 year old daughter sometimes even at night and till this day haven't had any issues or disrespectful vibes or remarks to me or my daughter. However parents this didn't mean to not have your guard up and a vigilant eye while there to your surroundings and the people in it . One must always be ready and alert to protect and defend their children and loved ones. So that's pretty much it and my sincere account of current encounters and most recent experiences at this park. Take care God bless and stay vigilant to your property and loved ones at all times....
ย ย ย Read moreYes the park is a public place but you need to be aware of how much space you're taking up if you're creating noise pollution for the other part goers there's this dancing exercise group there whooping and Waller for almost 2 hours and it's just kind of silly and the amount of debris and trash they leave I try to say they clean up after themselves but no they don't look in the bushes you'll see workout clothes and food wrappers just cuz it's public doesn't mean you can leave your s* everywhere you need to clean up after yourself for the other...
