‼️ !Horrible gross experience ‼️ We’ve been coming to this restaurant for a while and I’m very disappointed with the experience we just recently had ! Shortly after receiving our food I’ve noticed dead bugs on the window sill ! I was so grossed out I had to spit out my food! I waived down our waitress when she approached our table I pointed to the bugs and asked her what is that? With a very calm tone of voice she said (oh its just light bugs ) The way she said it was very normal for her to see these bugs in the restaurant! I told her this is NOT ok or NORMAL if the customer can see this INFESTATION during operating hours I could just imagine what else is crawling around the restaurant that the customer doesn’t see ‼️ I asked to speak with a manager or owner , she said yes no problem l’ll let him know and walked away , I did see her talk to a older man , he looked over and looked away We waited for over 15 minutes and he never bothered to acknowledge the problem. We walked over to the cash register again I asked our waitress to speak with the owner or whoever was in charge she walked into the kitchen and when she walked out she stated that he was very busy and we had to wait . At that point I knew that we as paying customers are not priority ‼️ I’ll never return...
Read moreAt first we were a little skeptical because of the lack of reviews but we went there after our favorite marisocs place just across the street, El Nuevo Tarasco, permanently closed (now Sapporo Mexican Sushi). We found out it’s the same owners and similar recipes to El Canto de La Sirena which is across town. We went on a Sunday at 1pm and we were sat down right away. As we were leaving we found out live music starts at around 2:30pm. They also are cash only and do not have an ATM inside so make sure to have enough cash on you if you plan on coming. Our waitress was very friendly and was happy to answer all our questions. The coctel de camaron was abundantly full of shrimp, the tostada de camaron was a good sized portion but make sure to order it cooked if you don’t like raw shrimp because the shrimp was very raw, they just put it in lemon to marinate, the micheladas were watered down because they put so much ice in them so definitely ask for light ice, the pulpo a la diabla which was what I ordered, was very flavorful and a great choice if you’re craving something spicy. Overall a great experience and I would come again to try their other dishes. A great addition to the collection of mariscos restaurants in the downtown...
Read moreHonestly, if they allowed 0 stars, that's exactly what they would get. 1 star is too much and not deserved. For starters, the place is so small, and the music is way too loud. Service was horrible, the food was cold and it was disgusting. They took forever to bring the food, and when they did, they kept forgetting everything that came along with it. Not to mention as well, that it is way over priced for the poor quality and taste. Micheladas are horrendous, it had way way way too much oyster sauce or whatever they added, but it was NASTY. Don't expect to order a drink and get refills, you finish your drink, you have to order another, and yes, you're charged for every single one. If you want delicious food... IXTAPA down the street is the place to eat, now THAT'S worth the wait.
WHOEVER REPLIED TO MY COMMENT IS OBVIOUSLY NOT PROFESSIONAL. I ATE THERE AND I GAVE AN HONEST REVIEW, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THEN HIRE BETTER COOKS AND WAITRESSES. FOOD BEING COLD AND NASTY AFTER WAITING 45 MINUTES FOR IT, IS NO EXCUSE, HORRIBLE SERVICE AND NOT OFFERING REFILLS IS OF VERY POOR TASTE. YOU NEED TO SEE THE CAMERAS TO VERIFY MY IDENTITY?? BECAUSE THAT SOUNDS MORE LIKE A...
