we arrived to this establishment at 5:15 after speaking with the “manager” mark,he encouraged us to buy the $90 pack which included outdoor activities as well as the indoor ones. Mark continued to tell me and my family (we came from pa) to wait for the weather to pass because they claimed they seen thunder. the time he told us the go karts would be available to ride was at 5:30. we went outside at 5:30 on the dot, two workers weren’t only disrespectful but were telling me and my family how terrible and ran down the rides were, and there was no point of waiting. at this point the two mean working outside were excited to hear it was another 30 min delay. they told us “you guys should move from the tables and go inside the ride is 2 mins and it’s not worth it I can’t wait for them to shut it down”. so we went back inside and played games to wait for the time to pass, we went back outside and the moment we walked up the same two workers dismissed us away saying they still can’t run any rides outside. they said it in a way where they were very enthusiastic to turn customers away. so we decide to wait for one last time and went to play games again inside, I went to mark to tell him the concerns I was having and expressed i’d like a refund, the “manager” mark proceeded to tell me no refunds are allowed and dismissed me away and said all we could do is play the game 15 arcade game options they you guys have and to wait another 30 mins. at this point I was annoyed and I brought my niece her to specifically play golf and go karts so I had hope in the last 30 mins call off I just received. I was wrong the workers outside proceeded to say the same thing in the sam nasty dismissive tone. I requested for a new manger to discuss me complaints or another higher up . the “manager” edward tried to issue a refund and it didn’t go through he gave us a card with the owners number. I feel like I wasted my time and money and the games were ran down and repetitive, I waited in line 7 mins to be assisted four different workers refused to make eye contact and I waited for edward to assist me. on the way out we seen people on the golf course after the workers inside claimed there was no outdoor attacrtions available. I would love a refund and dave and busters is a better pick and worth the money. I only spent $14 out of the $90 I payed,...
Read more2nd time visiting in the last year and definitely my last. Took 3 kids, ages 15, 6, and 4 on a Thursday evening after work. THE GOOD: Staff was friendly and courteous, overall the facilities are clean and well maintained, clean and fully functioning restrooms, prize prices were reasonable and the great location is convenient for shopping and dinner afterwards. THE BAD (mostly really bad): This place is absurdly overpriced for just about everything. I initially purchased the $25 "Run of The Park" special which included 3 attractions and $10 in game play. $10 in game play worked out to be about 4-5 games played or about 5 mins of fun for the kids. Even the most basic of games ranged from $1.00 - $4.00 or more...even the toddler games for the 4 year old were $1 or more. Uptown Alley, Chuck E Cheese, Putt-Putt Fun Center, Iron Bridge Sports Park, etc. all have the same games and your money goes twice if not triple as far. Used two of the attraction tickets on the Indoor playground for the youngest, They seemed to enjoy but in no way is it worth $8. Also, the carpet and seating area in that section needs to professionally steam cleaned and deodorized. It reeks of sweaty feet, dirty gym socks and body odor...not a very enjoyable wait while the kids played. 15yo said she enjoyed the go-karts but was very disappointed in the amount of time allowed to ride. I ended up spending an additional $40 reloading the game card with enough money for the kids to enjoy the rest of the visit playing games, but that $40 shockingly still lasted about 20-30 minutes! 1 out of 3 games was broken or down for maintenance and the mini bowling alley, while a great concept, needs to be taken down permanently until all the necessary repairs and cleanup can happen. In conclusion, for $65, three kids got a solid hour of playing and gaming with no food or snacks. $50 in game credits resulted in about 150 points for prize spending and 165 points netted us a cheap 125 points China-made tiara that broke on the ride home and some other meaningless trinkets for the remaining 40 points. That same amount of money ($65) would easily stretch to 2 or 3 hours of fun, food and games at any other Family Attraction event center in the Richmond Metro and...
Read moreBrought my son here for his 8th birthday today with a few of his friends that he’s been looking forward to for weeks now. They wanted to play laser tag and went in with another group of boys that looked to have been atleast 13-14 years old. When they came out, they were very upset. They said the older boys were harassing them, hitting them, & bullying them inside the room. A few of them even cornered my son in the corner during the game knocking his gun out of his hand and shoving his head into the wall. Then they tripped another boy up during the game. I complained to the employees working the laser tag attraction and then to management. I was told the boys were no longer going go be able to do any of the attractions unsupervised. Later on we ran into the same group of boys in line at go carts where they continued to bully my kids with me, in front of me, and then started being rude to me when I told them to stop talking to my boys & reminding them they were picking on 8 year old boys. When I went to the go cart employees, they had no idea the boys were supposed to be supervised or of the situation. A manager came out when I spoke to the employees working the go carts and just watched from afar if the boys tried anything again.. I should be able to take my kids to a sports park without worrying about my kid getting assaulted or bullied by teenage kids. I do wish that management would have taken me more seriously and asking the boys to leave as soon as the incident happened. Or that there were employees in the actual laser tag room watching. We aren’t talking about just pushing my son around or saying mean things. These boys that were literally 2 sizes bigger than my kid cornered him in a dark room and laid their hands on him multiple times before he had to try to defend himself by punching them to get them away from him. This is supposed to be a family atmosphere! But most of all, if you know your teenagers can’t be trusted to walk around a sports park unsupervised then don’t even bring them if you’re not going to walk...
