This trail/ park/ creek is extremely excellent for anybody who just wants to get out and walk and or fish. The creek is loaded with tons of marine life, catfish, sucker fish, cichlids, and various types of perch! You'll also see the occasional turtle, red eared slider and soft shell. Also, because it's nature you'll from time to time see water snakes! But don't be alarmed, once they see you, they tend to hurry and get away!! Not to mention they're in the water, not on land, so your safe if you have a phobia of them 😉 The trail/ sidewalk is excellent for dog walks, there are multiple entrances to the creek for your pup to cool off and splash around if allowed, be mindful if slippery rocks as you will be in nature's living room! Ha! Did I mention, a lot of the fishing key points are shaded??? This makes going fishing during the day, EXTREMELY tolerable, and most are hidden away by trees!! This place is a very great beginners area for anglers who are getting familiar with fishing, or even for those who are looking to just have some fun!

Really beautiful park. Parts of it are along the road, so you'll hear traffic. Other sections are alittle less noisy, but you'll likely hear the road the entire hike. The Park itself is fairly small. Lots of little waterfalls around the pathways.Great for walking the dog, biking, and walking. If you are walking there are always a handful of people biking, but the walkways are pretty wide. Right now, there's some nice fall folliage with big trees that have turned bright yellow. When it rains some of the bridges can get flooded making it difficult to go from one park to another. Just something to be aware of.

Nice little park, there’s something for everyone to do. There’s a small playground for the kids, a gravel track to walk around, or a trail if you want to walk some more, or take a bike on. There’s only thing I’ll say is the playground is geared more towards smaller kids. If you have children over 6 this isn’t that great for kids older than that.

Great place to soak in the sounds of the babbling creek. One of my favorite places to relax. With the recent rain events spotted a good size snake - stay to the paved trails. Again, spent some time picking up pop bottles and other discarded trash. Come on people - there are plenty of receptacles to properly dispose of your garbage. This is a special place to many of us, lets...
