Green Farm Fresh Fruit & Vegetables — Attraction in Philadelphia

I have been going to this store for vegetables for 5 years but they just lost one customer today. The employees don’t know how to talk to the customers, and they are rude. Today I was shopping there and as I was grabbing a sweet potato, couple of them fell on the floor, the way they have some fruits and vegetable kept is as soon as you touch it all slides down. I picked up the ones that fell from the floor, but there were few more on the floor that was there before and as I was getting other vegetables the one rude employee came after me saying “ miss there’s few more on the floor that you dropped” he wanted me to pick up all of them from the floor. I told him that I picked up the ones that fell on the floor , but he kept arguing and staring at me, I felt threatened and it was an embarrassment. They have no customer services and hopefully the owner will teach their employees how to deal with customers. I will never go back to their store again and won’t...

I like the Green Farm stores. I usually shopped on the Welsh Road, but there was a woman at the checkout there. She was standing next to the checkout while she was serving my groceries, and she was so rude. Because of her, I don't go there anymore. This time I stopped at Green Farm, and again, she had the same attitude towards all the customers. I think she needs to learn how to treat customers. I don't think anyone likes that kind of attitude. We buy things with our own hard-earned money, and she doesn't give us free stuff. We can buy what we need anywhere, and we don't have to put up with that kind...

Just discovered this little marvel GASTRONOME, not Green Farm. Truly the food would get 5 stars but unfortunately the woman behind the counter, whom I presume was the owner, was extremely slow and spoke the most minimal English. However thanks to another customer in the shop I was able to find out what some items were and get suggestions. Stop by and take a gamble it's worth it. Prices are not bad at all for good homemade. The stuffed chicken was a standout, the stuffed fish was pretty decent and I'm not going to lie the cold Herring or mackerel or whatever salad...
