I’ve been using this salon for about 1 & 1/2 years. In the beginning, it was wonderful! Great service, decent prices and loved the results of what I had requested to have done vs. what I received. For the last 10-11 months, I’ve seen a decrease in the salon’s quality. When I went last December for dip powder, requesting a few different colors & holiday design, the nail tech had a major attitude. She was angry and stormed off, I guess not liking my request. Two other girls stepped in to assist and were wonderful. I let it go, thinking the stress & busy season played a part. Fast forward to the past 2-4 months, each time I go, it seems like I’m an inconvenience. The quality isn’t as great, it’s an issue requesting a design on my nails, and the prices have climbed- including a service fee for debit/credit transactions. My most recent visit was to have my dip powder removed & get a manicure- to give my nails a rest. I was bombarded with questions asking why i didn’t want to do color on my nails, why I was taking the dip off (did I not like the color anymore? … i last got my nails done in mid-Sept and haven’t had time to come in to get them done & they were outgrown, chipped, broken… that’s why.) I was trying to be persuaded to get a color on my nails when I said numerous times I didn’t want to… even asked if I wanted a Halloween design- which is ironic, since the past few times I’ve gone and asked for designs it seems to be an issue. To top it off, I paid with my card (paying the stupid surcharge they recently implemented) and wasn’t even able to use my rewards card for the service I received… why? Because you have to spend $15+, months. I spent $17 (not including the tip $,) but $5 of that was to remove my old dip powder. So not only do I not get the card signed off on, I had to pay to have the polish removed - which would have been free to do if I were getting dip or even gel put on my nails. After paying, the clear polish was put on my nails, to which I accidentally messed up one nail and asked to have it fixed up and repainted. The tech just went back over, leaving it still jacked up. I stopped going to the last nail salon before starting at Hello One because the service just declined, even as prices went up. I felt more like a number to them, rather than a valued customer. Believe me, I am a creature of habit and will continue to go to the same places of service if I feel they are doing a great job. Hello One was a spot like that for me, but unfortunately will not be any longer. I ripped up my rewards card and left it behind. Please do better & be better.

On a Scale of 1-5 Parking- 3 Manicure-1 Customer Service-1 I had read reviews before going and there were several unfavorable reviews but decided to try it for myself. Needless to say I will not be returning. Also, not sure if they have a rewards card there but if so nobody gave me one or told me about it. Back to my old salon. I decided to try out Hello One because a while back during the pandemic I had run into one of my favorite nail people while out shopping. She told me that her and my other favorite were now at Hello One. I hadn’t gotten a manicure since March 2020 when the Pandemic started. Now that I was ready for a manicure I decided to give Hello One a try. Let’s see….there was a lot of parking, there are a lot of pedicure chairs, they look like do some kind of cool steam thing with certain pedicures. However, I didn’t see my two favorite nail people (not even sure they still work there) and the woman I had for my manicure was not good. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name but she sat at desk E. I don’t know if she doesn’t understand much but I explained at least twice that I didn’t need my nails to be even as a couple of my nails had recently broken and I didn’t need my long ones cut that short. In the end she did cut them all even. I got them done on a Thursday and today is Sunday there are cracks in the polish. Not counting the one nail I messed up 30 minutes after leaving the salon (after sitting at the dryer for 15 minutes) With the manicure you get a massage and it was the worst hand massage I have ever gotten. At the end of the manicure I waited for her to lead me to the nail dryers as I had no idea where they were and she kinda rudely waved me to go ahead of her. When we got to the dryer she said do you want a massage? Just like the salons I had been to most recently they give you a short massage at the dryer on your shoulders and back. I said yes please. The massage wasn’t bad but when she was done she just walked off. No thank you or anything. Also, when leaving two not sure if they are managers or owners were sitting on the couch and this is the first time I can EVER remember leaving a nail salon without a thank you, see you next time or anything?

I’m convinced you need to go out of North East Philadelphia to get your nails done decently… My mother and I use to LOVE this place when it first opened. Since then has completely gone down hill. People are rude. Prices are not as listed in shop. 1. Appointments are unnecessary. I had a 3pm appointment, went in at 2:50 and the place was packed.. I had to wait until around 4 to even get started! 2. I asked for almond French tip full set and was charged 65$! Then with tip it came to 75$ for a FULL SET. 3. The photo included is of my 1 week OLD acrylic full set.. which is currently chipping and 2 nails already completely fell off (the whole nail, no breakage) and I had to glue them back on until it is time to refill the rest. I’m completely unsatisfied and I keep trying to give this place another chance. Money doesn’t grow on trees, as we all know, we get our nails done to treat ourselves and they turn out like this! I don’t recommend this place to anyone honestly. Time to try some place new!

I got a Gel Manicure at Hello One Nail & Spa on Monday 03/08/2021.Tuesday 03/09/2021 all; the Gel polish was peeling off my nails.

I returned with my receipt to Hello One Nail & Spa for them to redo my nails. I waited for two hours patiently for someone to service me. They were servicing people who were walk-ins before me. I realize they were taking people ahead of me that did not have an appointments and were paying. Because my issue was a Gel Manicure redo, they figure I could just wait for two hours. I asked to speak with the manager and no one seemed to know who the manager was.

Hello One Nail & Spa definitely need Customer Service training, which I am sure they will not receive. They seem unattached to what Customer Service really is. I will not be supporting this business.

Many of these businesses come in to our communities with the goals of making money and getting rich, with the community support. Hello One Nails & Spa lack in given good customer service and I will not be supporting them.

Please be wise in where you invest your money.

Unprofessional, Rude, lack of Customer Service Skills...
