St. Katherine of Siena Catholic Church — Attraction in Philadelphia

Visited this church several times and there are two things that need significant improvement:

The music is dreadful and amateurish. Need much better organists and cantors who are skilled, trained, and rehearsed. Since singing is praying twice, this is an area that needs careful attention to make sure it is competent and professional.

The lighting inside the nave is harsh and all wrong. Cool white is a terrible color that does not match the decor of the church. Warm white bulbs would be a positive change in the quality and tone of the light. It's also much more inviting and sets the right mood for prayer...

I converted to Catholicism here. It felt like home. I had the best teachers Deacon Duffy, Deacon Hall & Helen Black. All the priests & Mgsr Kennedy really care about each & every person. It’s like a big family. I’m so glad I was drawn to St Katherine of Siena RC Church best church, staff, people I was hoping to find!!! Beautiful church as well. Take a tour & see...
