Thomas Mitchell Playground — Attraction in Philadelphia

Great place to walk your dog! Good amount and lots of space for children to do activities. They have a basketball court, tennis court, and a big field to play baseball in! Took the grands up to swim from 1-5 pm. Got there @1:30 stayed thru 5. Water was clean clear & refreshing. Multiple lifeguards were on duty, & stayed on top of all poolside/ pool needs. The playground is being all re- done, but not complete as yet. ( It's 3 months overdue, a staffer told me). It will be great when completed.
