China Gate Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Just moved to this area and I wanted to find a Chinese restaurant and came across China Gate and it was the best experience. Food was delivered hot and very fresh. I mean I know you get fresh food but this food was by far the best Chinese I had in a very long time. My family loved everything. We ordered a lot just in case it wasn’t as good we had other options to choose from. The Bbq spareribs was so delicious tender meaty and juicy not dried out but a little on the sweet side. The general tso’s was great. Tasted really good. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious so crispy. The scallion pancakes was crispy and flavorful & the dip n sauce was amazing. The plain lo mein noodles was very good and tasty., The onion rice & vegetable fried rice was very fluffy and good. To top it off the fried biscuits was one of my favorites. Honestly, this is the best Chinese place that I have ever ordered from in my life. I have lived in numerous areas in my lifetime and no other Chinese restaurant I have been to has ever come close to China Gate. Prices are better than most other Chinese Restaurants in Philadelphia, and the portions are much bigger! I can get 3 servings out of each order! Food is always hot and stays hot for a while after getting food. Good quality meat and vegetables as well. Rice is great too. Great service as well, fast and accurate. This was the 1st time I ordered from China Gate and was extremely happy with my order. I ordered delivery which came very quickly. Everything was hot as if I was there dining in. I ordered the Hot & Sour Soup which was hot upon opening and really tasty, it was perfect. I ordered the Sesame Chicken combination dinner and it did not disappoint. It came with white rice and a delicious crunchy egg roll. China Gate will now be my GO TO Chinese food restaurant. I gave China Gate 5 Stars and am looking forward to ordering...
