
I took my youngest 2 grands in, to get books they needed, for their summer reading project. They met Ms. Leah there, she is the Children's librarian. They knew her, as, she came to their summer camp, along with a co-worker, to do reading visits there. Ms. Leah was very helpful to the girls, helping them find the books , needed for their projects. They also went outside, to participate in a painting class, outdoors, with the staff. Upon leaving, the girls checked out their books, & even got new library cards. Read moreThe Tacony branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia has a lot to offer. It is a beautiful building and the architecture is amazing. It is a great space for individuals of all ages, there is something for everyone. The librarian and other staff members are helpful, professional and made me feel welcome. I really do appreciate that. The hours are limited but that is every library branch in the city.
