As a native Philadelphian, I have always been on the hunt for an authentic hoagie that truly captures the essence of my beloved city. I am thrilled to have discovered Fink's Hoagies, a hidden gem that has quickly become my go-to spot for a taste of home.
From the moment you step into Fink's, you are greeted with the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of their hoagies, from the perfectly toasted roll to the generous portions of high-quality meats and cheeses. Each bite is a symphony of flavors that transport me back to the streets of Philadelphia.
One of my favorite hoagies at Fink's is their classic Italian. The combination of thinly sliced prosciutto, genoa salami, and capicola, layered with provolone cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, and onions, is simply divine. The meats are expertly seasoned and the ingredients are always fresh, resulting in a hoagie that is bursting with flavor.
Another standout option is the roast pork hoagie. The slow-roasted pork is tender and juicy, complemented perfectly by the sharpness of the provolone cheese and the tanginess of the broccoli rabe. This hoagie is a true testament to Fink's commitment to using only the finest ingredients.
What sets Fink's apart from other hoagie shops is their dedication to authenticity. Every hoagie is made with love and care, just like they would be in the heart of Philadelphia. The staff at Fink's is friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have.
In addition to their exceptional hoagies, Fink's also offers a variety of sides and desserts that are not to be missed. The homemade potato salad is the perfect accompaniment to any hoagie, while their freshly baked cookies provide a sweet ending to a satisfying meal.
Whether you're a Philly native longing for a taste of home or simply a hoagie enthusiast looking for the real deal, Fink's Hoagies is the place to go. Their commitment to quality and authenticity shines through in every bite, making it a must-visit destination for any...
Read moreI will start off on a positive note. My family had ordered finks catering food for a birthday and it was delicious! This review isn’t about the food it is about the customer service, or lack there of. We called in plenty of time for our event to be catered. They are only open Wed-Sat. Voicemail states that 24 hour notice for orders is enough time. We called a week prior but due to operating hours, we had to wait till Wednesday. Still fine with that. We called on Wednesday. Phone rang and rang for hours, fine I’m sure they were busy. We finally got in contact with someone and were placed on a call list to be called back after lunch rush, ok fine, perfect. We never received a call back that day. The same went for the next day, we called and called. Finally got in touch with them for them to say “you are first on the call back list, they will get back to you after the lunch rush”, ok fine we will wait. Yet again, no call back that day. Here we are, a day before our event with no call back. And on top of it, the new voicemail states they are closed for the next 2 days. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service! We like to stick with family owned small businesses which is why we picked Finks however they have lost us and our family due to such inconsiderate, horrible lack of...
Read moreI really wanted to like Fink's Hoagies because of the recent press, but now realize it is pure hype and marketing. I was shocked by the grossness of Fink's Hoagies. I gave Fink's Hoagies three different tries, each time trying a different kind. I have seriously eaten far tastier but much cheaper hoagies from a lowly convenience store chain. It is no wonder that Fink's Hoagies had no customers in the store each time I was there. Except for the rolls, which are made elsewhere, nothing at Fink's warrants my repeat business. I hate to say these things because the staff seemed nice and hardworking, but I must give an honest review. But in fairness to Fink's Hoagies, the other local hoagie shops I have tried are barely a notch above Fink's Hoagies. You really have to travel 20 miles or more to get a truly great hoagie. REPLY TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: Nope, it's not me, it's you. Your hoagies are gross. Excuse me for giving my honest opinion. If your products are so great, you would have multiple locations by now, like several local chains. I am highly suspicious of the five star reviews, especially since I have as yet to see any customers in your store even during prime times. And you are not so...
